Echocardiology is used to fully evaluate the heart to determine the source of murmurs and monitor cardiac health.
Abdominal ultrasonography is helpful to evaluate internal organs, as well as obtain aspirates and biopsies of diseased organs. This helps localize the disease source and can lead to the appropriate treatment.
Ultrasound exams are usually done under light sedation and are well tolerated by our patients.
